Add a new email account to your Android Phone

Setup a new eMail account on an Android phone

To complete this task you will need to know your email details, including configurations and passwords

Step 1

On your android phone, navigate to the ‘Settings’ icon.

Step 2

Within the Settings menu, navigate to the ‘Accounts’ option.

>Accounts

Step 3

In the Accounts, scroll down to the ‘Add Account’ option.

>Add Account

Step 4

Within the ‘Add Account’ menu, scroll down to the option ‘Email’ found below.

>Email

Step 5

Enter the email account detils provided when the eamil account was created.

>Email Address

>Email Password

Step 6

Here you choose between an POP3 or a IMAP account.
A POP3 will download and delete the email from the server, And a IMAP synchronizes emails accross multiple devices.

>IMAP Account

Step 7

Here you add any additional details provided when you created your mail account.

>Account Added!
